Byobugaura is a scenic stretch of sea cliffs lining the Pacific coast from Choshi to Asahi in Chiba Prefecture.
Known as the “Dover of the East,” it is often compared to the famous White Cliffs of Dover.
These dramatic precipices, showcasing geological strata dating back roughly three million years, have been carved by wave erosion and are a popular filming location for movies and TV commercials.
